Mission
As a Quality Assurance Engineer your main mission within the area will be to interpret and comply with company quality assurance standards, based on both, sectorial and specific company practices for the manufacturing, assembly and integration, testing, procurement activities and operational exploitation of the Launch System.
Responsibilities
- Perform non-conformance processing through records and tracking systems, used the company tools, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Assist operations, verifying the correct accomplishment and tracking of associated As-Run procedures and performing the associated Quality and Safety checks as needed. Maintenance of products’ logbooks.
- Management (tracking, processing, closure) of Open Works for the manufacturing, integration and testing activities and during launch campaigns.
- Support to the inspection’s tasks (including MIP and KIP), generating corresponding Inspection Reports.
- Lead execution of reviews and associated quality gates (Manufacturing Readiness Review, Integration Readiness Review, Test Readiness Review, Post-Test Reviews…) with the support of the Engineering Teams.
- Survey for cleanliness and contamination control compliance for the concerned operations.
- Test facilities and equipment quality control, including metrology and calibration.
- GSE and production means quality control, including maintenance of records for their regulatory certifications and maintenance operations.
- Handling, storage and transportation preservation (monitoring of packings, quality of transport documentation, pre-shipment review…).
- Support to the Supply Chain on the overall QA tasks (procurement documents, non-conformances control, receiving inspections, inspections…).
- Support the preparation of internal and external quality audits.
- Support for the maintenance of statistical quality control records (KPIs) and analysis, under the control and supervision of Quality Management.
- Support for the development of improved quality standards and practices, providing feedback about the performance of the actual methods and procedures.
Necessary Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering, with preference in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical of Industrial Engineering.
- Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools and familiarity with industry standards: as reference ECSS-Q-ST-20 (Quality Assurance), ECSS-Q-ST-10-09 (Nonconformance Control System), ISO9001 (Quality Management Systems), AS/EN 9100 (Aerospace Quality Management)
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams in technical and programmatic areas.
- Autonomy, very organized, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Good communication skills, including fluency in English.

- Knowledge of industrial regulations
- Knowledge of collaborative methodologies (agile, scrum, other) and its interaction with QA
- Any quality professional certification
- Fluency in French
