Mission

The Human Resources Intern will provide support in various functions of the Human Resources department, allowing for hands-on experience in multiple areas. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to develop their skills and gain a comprehensive understanding of human resources operations in an organization.


Responsibilities

Labor relations:

  • Support to the labor relations department in the following tasks:
    • Recruitment management
    • Management of absences, vacations, leave, benefits, etc.
    • Management of permanent dismissals
    • Employee support
    • Assist in daily administrative tasks such as file management, document preparation and database updates.
    • Assist in managing internal and external correspondence for the human resources department.


Recruitment and Selection:

  • Posting job vacancies on various job portals and social networks.
  • Pre-select resumes and coordinate interviews with candidates.
  • Participate in job fairs and recruitment events.


Induction and Onboarding:

  • Collaborate in the onboarding process of new employees, including preparing welcome kits and coordinating induction sessions.
  • Assist in organizing orientations and initial trainings for new employees.


Training and Development:

  • Support in the planning and organization of training and development sessions.
  • Assist in coordinating the logistics of training events, including booking rooms and providing materials.


Employee Relations Management:

  • Provide support in the management of employee wellness activities and events.
  • Assist in resolving employee inquiries and issues by providing appropriate information and referrals.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Assist in the collection and analysis of compensation and benefits related data.
  • Support in the communication of benefit programs to employees.


Necessary Requirements

Education:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.


Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Ability to work as a team player and collaborate with different levels of the organization.
  • Proactivity and desire to learn and develop in the human resources field.

 

Desired Requirements 

Technical Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of human resource management systems (HRIS) is a plus.
