[P35] Harness Engineer

Responsabilities

  • Electrical wiring design for power distribution, RF, internal communications and signal handling.  

  • Electrical sizing of conductors, coatings, terminals, connectors and cables.  

  • Selection of components and hardware, including sensors of various kinds, (pressure, temperature, loads).  

  • Design and analysis of electrical schemes.  

  • Study of electrical requirements at the systems level and creation of tests procedures.  

  • Perform test to validate the configuration of the electrical system against design specifications.  

  • Preparation of technical and other documentation (including schematics, integration manuals, user manuals and tecgnical material sheets). 

  • Provide interface support with engineers and technicians from other areas (propulsion, structures, internal avionics and systems engineering) to optimize the integration of designs, their production and validation.  

  • Interface with engineers and technicians in integrations and production areas to ensure compliance with the design and implementation.  

  • To be part of hardware testing activities.  


Required competences 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Aerospace Engineering,  

  • Knowledge and experience in electrical systems design.  

  • Knowledge and experience using electrical testing equipments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power sources, etc.). 

  • Knowledge and experience in 3D design software, in particular SIEMENS NX. 

  • Know how to translate and convert high-level requirements into designs, test plans and test conduct. 

  • Strong and solid engineering intuition and analytical mindset in electrical systems.

Valued Competences

  • Experience in software 3D (valuable NX Siemens or CATIA). 

  • Experience in software 2D (valuable SEE Electrical). 

  • Previous experience in the space launcher sector.

  • Be a multitasker with strong sense of accountability, integrity, and team focus. 

  • Passionate and creative problem solver that thrives in fast-paced environment.
