Mission
As a Software Engineer in Flight software your main mission within the area will be to develop internal desktop or web-based applications that support the team to perform the hard task of designing, testing and manufacturing a space launcher. The selected candidate will have to be eager to face new challenges and learn new technologies to be able to perform this task that will guarantee the quality and performance of PLD’s products.
Responsibilities
- Develop desktop and web-based applications.
- Manage relational databases.
- Test & ensure quality of the software products based on PLD’s software development life cycle.
- Document the processes and designs of the applications.
- Prioritize & consult user needs.
- Attend SW meetings and report to the Software manager.
Necessary Requirements
- Computer Science or Telecommunication Engineering degree.
- Experience of 2 years in development of web-based or desktop applications.
- Knowledge in the following web technologies: ReactJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+) and Typescript.
- Knowledge of Python language and object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of using Web API Rest.
- Knowledge of version control tools, such as Git.
- Fluent in English (B2).
Desired Requirements
- Knowledge of CI/CD workflows, issues and pipelines.
- Experience with Docker and containers clustering Ecosystems.
- Experience with remote control of electronic laboratory equipment.
- Experience in long-life product quality and testing procedures.
- Experience in one of these industries: Railway, Automotive, Aerospace or Space.
